Live Online College ACT Prep Course by Steve Leake

The course is strategic and technique-based in nature, based on the idea that students know everything they need to know to score perfectly on the ACT (and the SAT) by the end of 8th grade--they just don't know how to use it.  That is, they underperform on the ACT (and SAT) because they don't recognize how the tests disguise simple elementary-level material to look much harder than it is, then go too slowly (especially on the ACT), and throw in way too many careless errors.

The first class covers strategy for the ACT overall and College Prep Coach techniques on each section (two on the English, two on the Math, one on Reading, and one on Science), along with practice on sample questions from each section.  Homework is a full length real practice test (3 hours) for the following week.  The second class reviews this test, reinforces strategy and techniques, and provides additional drill.  The homework/review/drill process is repeated for the remaining classes.  Students, therefore, will complete and review 3 full-length real tests during the course.
